One-on-one therapy for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday complexities of being human.
Individual therapy is a confidential, one-on-one space dedicated entirely to you. Your story, your pace, your goals. Whether you are navigating something acute or simply carrying more than you should have to carry alone, therapy can help.
I am an individual therapist who leans away from pathologizing the normal complexities of being human. Conflict, grief, relationship struggles, and moments of feeling lost or overwhelmed are not disorders. They are part of a full life. My work is not about labeling what is wrong with you. It is about understanding what has happened, what you are carrying, and what you need to move forward.
Sessions are 53 minutes and available in person at my Hamburg, NY office or via secure telehealth throughout New York State and Michigan.
I accept most major insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare plans through Headway. If you have coverage, you will pay your plan's copay or coinsurance rather than the full session rate.
A free 15-minute phone consultation is available before your first session. No commitment required.
Persistent worry, panic, social anxiety, and the exhausting work of managing a nervous system that will not settle.
Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, disconnection from yourself and the things that used to matter.
Career changes, relationship shifts, loss, relocation, new parenthood, and any moment that requires a new version of yourself.
Patterns that keep showing up in relationships, difficulty with trust or intimacy, or simply wanting to show up better for the people you love.
Perinatal anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, and the emotional complexity of becoming a parent.
A desire to understand yourself better, break old patterns, and build a more intentional relationship with your own mind and life.
Therapy with me is not a formal, clinical experience where you sit across from someone taking notes and nodding. It is a real conversation. Sometimes we go deep into patterns and complicated feelings that have been running your life without your permission. Sometimes we talk about the TikTok that somehow perfectly captured your entire mood, or the moment this week that felt harder than it should have. Both of those conversations matter.
I do not see you as the sum of your problems. I see a whole person who has developed ways of moving through the world that made sense at some point, and who is now ready to understand them more clearly and build something better. A significant part of my work is helping people recognize their own patterns, name them without judgment, and develop real skills for responding differently. That process builds genuine confidence over time, not just insight.
I work from an attachment-focused lens, drawing on Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy depending on what you need and when. My approach is flexible because people are not one size fits all, and neither is good therapy.
You can expect warmth, honesty, and the occasional laugh. You can also expect to be gently challenged when you are ready for it, and met with genuine curiosity about who you are rather than who your symptoms suggest you might be.
I identify strengths first. Understanding what is already working in your life is as important as understanding what is not. From there we build skills, deepen self-awareness, and work on the patterns that are getting in your way.
I accept the following insurance plans for individual therapy through the Headway provider portal. If your plan is not listed, a superbill can be provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
Per 53-minute session
If you are not using insurance, the self-pay rate is $150 per session. HSA cards and all major credit cards are accepted. A superbill can be provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation before your first session. There is no obligation and no pressure.
